Services
📋 Examinations #
Scheduled examinations with a veterinarian take place weekdays from 9 am–noon and from 3 pm–6 pm.
Surgeries and dental procedures are performed from noon–3 pm and on Wednesdays.
💉 Vaccinations #
Vaccine protocols are individualized for each of our cat and dog patients, based on their risk and lifestyle. Each pet vaccinated at APH is first examined to ensure they are healthy enough to be vaccinated.
💡 Diagnostics #
As a full-service pet hospital, we perform x-rays, blood tests, urinalysis, and other needed evaluations in-house. We refer out to specialized hospitals if advanced diagnostics and care are needed.
🦷 Dentistry #
We perform dental cleanings under general anesthetic for dogs and cats with our high frequency water scaler and high speed polisher. During the comprehensive oral health and treatment, we assess tooth integrity with the assistance of dental radiographs. We perform dental extractions of diseased teeth. ✂️ Surgery #
Our veterinarians perform many types of surgeries, including spays, neuters, tumor removals, and biopsies. More complicated procedures are referred out to board-certified surgeons at their specialty practices.
🚑 Emergencies #
We understand that emergencies can happen unexpectedly. During our opening hours, we can assess and stabilize pets requiring urgent care and will work closely with referral or out-of-hours services when advanced or continuous care is needed.
